The total cash and prizes for the 2009 Nokia Calling All Innovators Bil3arabi contest are worth more than $125,000!

In order to be eligible for these prizes, the panel of judges will closely review all of the applications submitted, and choose finalists and winners according to the following criteria:

• Quality / Functionality: the application or service must be fully functional and run successfully on Nokia devices and platforms (S60 and/or Series 40).
• Uniqueness, novelty value and innovativeness: display creativity in applications, use established technology in a unique way.
• Usability / Creativity: leverage latest technologies to demonstrate superior design and ease of use (UI, graphics, etc.)
• Arabic/local relevancy: ability to fulfill users' needs, customer adoption.

• Grand Prize winner: $100,000 USD in cash; “Spotlight” placement featuring the winning application for 4 weeks on the top page of Nokia's newly announced Ovi Store; and paid travel to demo the winning application at a Nokia specified event in the Fall 2009 (ARV 3,000 USD). The winning application will also be reviewed by Nokia for possible preload on future Nokia devices.
• 2nd Place: $25,000 USD in cash; and “Spotlight” placement featuring the winning application for 3 weeks on a relevant category page in Nokia's newly announced Ovi Store.
• Judge's Choice Award: The top 10 submissions will receive a one-year membership in Forum Nokia Launchpad (value of 300 Euros).
