Attention Developers in Netherlands – You Can Win a Special Prize for Your Local Apps
The 2010 Calling All Innovators contest has a special prize for developers who submit locally relevant applications and content for use on Nokia devices by consumers living in Netherlands. The best entry will receive a special prize of 5,000 EUR in cash. Additionally, two runners-up will be awarded the newest and coolest Nokia devices. And remember, this is an additional incentive – you could still be a global winner in one of the four categories!*
Here’s what you need to do for a chance to win the special prize in Netherlands:
- Check out the contest categories to determine which category best fits your skills and interests, and then decide what kind of apps consumers in your region would want.
- Create an application, a piece of content, or a Web Runtime widget that works on Nokia mobile devices and is relevant to your local market. The app should be in the Dutch language.
- Submit your entry to the contest before the deadline on 10 June 2010. For a qualified entry, you must submit all of the files required for a successful installation of the app, and let us know which Nokia devices can run the app. Then, tell us about your app, and what makes it unique and appealing for consumers. Optionally, you can include supporting documentation about how your application works, what inspired you to create it, etc.
- Deadline for submissions: 10 June 2010
- Announcement of winners: September 2010
Full details about the competition can be found in the official rules.
The submission period ends on 10 June 2010, so get started right away!
* To qualify for both the global prize and the special local prize, there must be two language versions of the application: one in English and one in Dutch.
