The Forum Nokia Calling All Innovators Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes”) brought to you by Nokia Corporation ("Sponsor"), is governed by these “Official Rules”. The sweepstakes starts at 12:00:01 p.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) 9/16/2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 12/15/2008 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes opens to all countries, void where prohibited. Participants must be age 18 or older as of 12/30/2008. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, and where prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted by law. Void in the Canadian province of Quebec. Void in Sweden, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Columbia, France, Honk Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, and Venezuela. Employees (and members of their household or immediate family, i.e., parents, children, spouse, or siblings) of Administrator, Sponsor; its respective subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, affiliates; advertising and sweepstakes agencies and/or their affiliates, assigns or representatives; or any other individuals or entities involved in the development or administration of, or supply to, this Sweepstakes, are not eligible to participate. Acceptance of prize constitutes winner permission to the use of his/her likeness or name for advertising or sweepstakes purposes without additional approval or compensation. This is a global contest and depending on your country of residence you may not be eligible to win.
TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes: (1) Go to www.callingallinnovators.com during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the instructions for completing and submitting the official sweepstakes entry form (“Sweepstakes Entry”), to be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 12/15/2008. Limit one entry per household per day during the Sweepstakes Period. All Sweepstakes Entries, regardless of method of entry, become property of Forum Nokia® (“Sponsor”) and will not be returned. No mechanically reproduced entries allowed.
RANDOM DRAWING & ODDS: Winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about 12/20/2008 from among all eligible entries in the Sweepstakes, by Realtime Media (“Administrator”), an independent judging organization, whose decisions will be final in all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”): (10) Grand Prize: Nokia N95 8G Approximate Retail Value of Prize $599. (15) First Prizes: Nokia E71 Approximate Retail Value of Prize $579. All costs and expenses not specifically listed above, including but not limited to insurance, etc. are solely Grand Prize winner’s responsibility. Prize does not include phone service. Winners bear full responsibility for activation service. All federal, state and local taxes and any other costs not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the winner’s responsibility. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to a Grand Prize Winner or potential Grand Prize Winner who is unable or unavailable to accept or utilize Prize as described herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value. Prize is not transferable. Total Prize Pool ARV $14,675.
NOTIFICATION: Potential Winners will be notified by phone or mail on or about 1/07/2009. Winners must return our e-mail and accept the prize within 21 days of receipt. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, prize will be forfeited and time allowing, an alternate entrant will be drawn.
GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, promoters, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, parent companies, affiliates and subsidiaries from and against any liability of any kind or nature for any loss, claims, damages or injuries of any kind associated in any way with the acceptance, possession, participation in or use of any prize or participating in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information or for those who cannot access the Internet or cannot click-through for any period of time regardless of technical, hardware, software, telephone, Internet, virus contamination, network problems or delay, failure or malfunction for any reason. Use of a profane email address or the submission of false or misleading personal information by an entrant will be grounds for disqualification. Determination of information to be profane, false, or misleading is at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, or incomplete entries. Entries generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated means will be disqualified. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information or for incomplete, lost, stolen, late, misdirected, misplaced, mutilated, or postage due entries or mail. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel/suspend/modify the online portion of the Sweepstakes if it becomes corrupted in any manner such that it cannot be conducted as originally planned and in such event, to select winner by random drawing from all eligible online entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor, and all mail-in entries received. In the event of a dispute regarding prize claims or entries received from multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account at the time of entry used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, winners agree that Sponsor and its related and affiliated companies may use the winner’s name, address (city, state), photograph, videotape, likeness, and/or prize information for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to winner relating to Sponsor, its related and affiliated companies or to this Sweepstakes and grants to Sponsor and its related and affiliated companies any and all rights to said use without further notice and/or compensation. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that each entry becomes the property of Sponsor and that such entry may be used by the Sponsor for any proper purpose. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant's participation in this Sweepstakes will be collected by Sponsor and used by Sponsor, Administrator, their respective affiliates, agents and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules. Sponsor’s published privacy policy does NOT apply to Sponsor’s publication of winner’s name and likeness, who, by entering this Promotion, agrees to the publication of his/her personal information.
ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND IF SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
DISPUTES: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Finland. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrant’s rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Finland.
