This category seeks mobile applications that make consumer’s daily lives easier and help them to be more efficient, such as utilities, business, or personal finance applications.
This category feels pretty self-explanatory, right? Good examples of some of the types of things we’d expect to see can be found in the Business applications – as well as Utilities – available in Nokia’s Ovi Store.
Additionally, if you need other inspiration, consider one of the winner’s from last year’s Calling All Innovators contest: Florin Finance Tracker. While this was a winner in the Flash Lite category at the time, it is a perfect example of what mobile apps can do to help consumers be more productive in their daily lives.
What can you win:
The top three submissions will receive the following cash prizes:
- Grand Prize: 30,000 USD in cash.
- 2nd Prize: 15,000 USD in cash.
- 3rd Prize: 5,000 USD in cash.
