Judging and Awards

The winners of Calling All Innovators UK will be announced by 31 December 2009 and they will receive cash and other valuable prizes.

Grand Prize
One grand prize winner will be selected among the submissions in all contest categories, and will walk away with cash and other valuable prizes, including:

• 20,000 GBP in cash.
• Paid travel and a ticket to a Nokia developer event in the spring 2010.
• Nokia’s sponsorship to become an Ovi Store publisher to get the winning application to Ovi Store*.
• One-year membership in Forum Nokia Launchpad (value of 300 EUR).

Other prizes:
The best entry in each of the other four categories will also receive valuable prizes:

• 2,500 GBP in cash.
• Nokia’s sponsorship to become an Ovi Store publisher to get the winning application to Ovi Store*.
• One-year membership in Forum Nokia Launchpad (value of 300 EUR).

In addition, the winning applications in all categories will be reviewed by Nokia for possible preload on future Nokia devices.

Judging Criteria:
In order to be eligible for these prizes, the Calling All Innovators panel of judges will closely review all of the applications submitted, and choose finalists and winners according to the following criteria:

• Quality / Functionality: the application or service must be fully functional and run successfully on Nokia devices and platforms.
• Uniqueness, novelty value and innovativeness: display creativity in applications, use established technology in a unique way.
• Usability / Creativity: leverage latest technologies to demonstrate superior design (UI, graphics, etc.)
• Commercial Viability / Market Potential: ability to fulfil users' needs, customer adoption.
